FROM GLORY TO GLORY

When learning God, the boundary of learning Him is the scriptures and then we can support it with any other scripture compliant experiences. We are not given the liberty to explore other avenues outside the scriptures and even with the scriptures, we are guided by the Holy Spirit. When you try to learn God through any other channels, you stand the risk of encountering familiar spirits and concepts that may be spiritual but not of God. Sufficient intelligence is found within the scriptures to educate you until you become the full expression of God’s glory. If you lack growth through the scripture, you need illumination; light shining upon the scriptures for you to see in a greater dimension.

Glory in Hebrew means Chabod which means honour, reverence, respect and importance. It is the measure of the worth of a thing. Doxazo is the Greek word of God’s glory; Doxazo is concerned with the display of the glory.

The glory of God is a capture of every dimension of God that makes Him God; the attributes of God that make Him God. To learn His glory thoroughly, you will have to examine as many qualities and facet of God that makes Him God, for instance; His goodness, kindness, power, wisdom and others. You need to examine His qualities because we are made in His image and, our journey with Him is until we become a manifestation of His glory in experience. There is always an endpoint to a believer’s journey with God; that everything you are learning about Him should flow through you. There are only three dimensions of God that He has reserved that He didn’t share with man;

 Omnipotent – The ability to be all powerful. Our power is derived from our relationship with Him.

 Omniscient – All knowing

 Omnipresent – Ability to be everywhere at the same time

Besides the three dimensions, God desires that His other dimensions find expression in the lives of believers. 2nd Corinthians 3:17-18, when it has to do with the business of transitioning into glory, we all are partakers.

When a believer begins a journey with God, there is an endpoint to that journey. That when God saved man, He did not just save him for nothing. There is the hope of His calling for salvation eventually becoming a manifestation of His glory. The degree to which this goal that God has for you upon the earth is achieved, is the degree to which you will bring satisfaction and praise to Him. Therefore, our mandate is that we cooperate with the Spirit of grace to insist that within the frame of our lifetime, we satisfy that desire that is in the heart of God.

Jesus’ death was beyond saving us from eternal condemnation; He had an intent which was to call many sons into His glory. Matthew 5:16, Romans 8:18, 2nd Corinthians 4:17, Romans 8:29-30.

THE PATH TO GREATER GLORY

In the economy of God, a man is never supposed to have a better yesterday Haggai 2:9, Proverbs 4:18. It should never be that your life is full of darkness that you only have to look back to find hope and to rejoice. God designed that we go from one level of exploit and glory to another. Job 8:7, based on God’s laws, your latter end should greatly increase; remaining small is against God’s design for your destiny. Haggai 2:3,9

More and more is the heritage of every believer in Christ; Have this at the back of your mind that a great destiny is your heritage in Christ Genesis 12:2-3, 17:6. You have to understand that if you truly want God to be glorified in the world of men, it happens at the instance of results that come out of your life John 15:8, 16, Ephesians 2:10. God is glorified when you excel Matthew 5:13-16, Galatians 1:24. God wants men to see the good deeds in your life and glorify Him in you; God can be glorified in a man.

Additionally, God is interested in our consistency; that you remain in producing results. Results are impactful when they are sustained producing kingdom impression. There are keys that are responsible for sustainable results and glory;

1. a. Greater yieldness, brokenness and surrender – The deeper your consecration the higher your flight in destiny. The greater your surrender the greater the glory that should be revealed in your life. 2nd Timothy 2:20–21, you can transit from a vessel of wood to a vessel of gold prepared for every good work. Proverbs 25:4
   Your obsession for His presence should be greater than the obsession for any other thing. It is in the presence of God where His glory resides. Time is a currency that you use to purchase anything you want; you can’t give God minimal time and expect to carry His glory. If you want to move from glory to glory, invest in His presence. The secret to be known by the world is to stay with God until He builds you. His presence is a place of immunity, grace and power. There is a depth in God if you touch it, you will become a sign and a wonder; your life will be different from others 1st Corinthians 15:41. As long as your heart is right with God, seeking Him because you love Him, He will prosper you, 2nd chronicles 26:5.
   Love God more than material things. John 14:21, you love Him by obeying His commands. When your flesh dies, you are ready for another level of glory.
2. b. High level spiritual illumination – the ministry of light. the dimension of God’s glory you carry in life and destiny is a direct product of the kind of light; the quality of spiritual understanding you have Proverbs 16:16. You should choose wisdom and understanding more than silver and gold regardless of how precious they look in our world today. You have to be passionate about spiritual understanding and continuous learning 1st Corinthians 8:2. There is a standard in the spirit for every glory that must manifest in your life. Your command of dominion and power in this kingdom, is a product of the spiritual truths you know John 1:5. There is nobody who emerges and walks in ever increasing glory, in ignorant or at the level of yesterday’s knowledge. Isaiah 60:1, the glory of God has always been there but it will not rise upon you until light has come.
   Your life and destiny will only rise and stop at the level of your spiritual understanding, hence the need to contend for spiritual light. The greater your light the greater your competence. Once there is too much gap in knowledge, the courage to deliver is not there. When you have gaps in knowledge, buy the truth using the currency of hunger, adaptation and humility Proverbs 23:23, 18:1. Damage ignorance in your life and press for knowledge connected to your destiny and rising. There are two levels of truths you need to have:
    Knowledge of God
    Knowledge of the laws and principles of the kingdom (ways of the universe) Job 38:33
   Your destiny is at the mercy of what you know. You have to discipline yourself to learn; have diligence to learn. There is a relationship between ignorance and shame Ecclesiastes 10:15.
3. c. Humility – Proverbs 29:23, 1st Peter 5:6, Philippians 2:5
   Honour upholds the humble while pride is an enhancer to persecution. There is always exaltation for the humble; people who never go down are those who have found humility. It is by humility that Jesus was exalted and given a Name that every knee bows to. Humility is a state where you perpetual acknowledge that outside the help of God you will never be able to obtain the results that you have Philemon 1:6. Pride is a killer
4. d. Greater kingdom service – The more you serve God sincerely, the more He endows you with His glory. Service is a mystery that lifts men mysteriously. There is something that service teaches you especially one born from loving God and wanting to see His purposes advanced. Service teaches you discipline, gifts of God on your life. Those who are in service are those who are actively participating in the agenda of God. The day you become too big to serve God and His purposes, is when an end comes to your rising. The glory of God rests upon people who desire to serve and remain at the place of service.
5. e. Consistent thanksgiving – Jeremiah 30:19, thanksgiving causes God to multiply and glorify you. When the glory of God is upon you, you cannot be small. Thanksgiving is highly memory dependent; something happens to men when they forget about the faithfulness of God. Psalms 92:3-4,10-14, Your horn is exalted on the wings of thanksgiving.

THE EVIDENCES OF CHANGE

2nd Corinthians 3:18, there are consequences when we behold the glory of God; that something happens to us and we don’t remain the same way. There is an implication when a man encounters the glory of God, he is changed into the same image of the Lord from glory to glory. There are evidences that show that you are beholding God, namely;

1. 1. Greater conformity to the character of Christ – which means that there is greater outworking of righteousness in your life, Galatians 5:22. You can come as you are in His presence but you can’t stay the way you are. Something happens to you when you stay in God’s presence. When Zechariah questioned Gabriel, he said that he is from the presence of God, which meant that he can’t lie while he is from God’s presence.
   No matter how bad you are, once you come in His presence you will change. Ephesians 4:17-32, your growing in Christ must affect your speaking. Take advantage of the supply of grace to transition and be like Christ; avail yourself and receive the enabling of the Spirit. The character of Christ brings beauty to what you do (business, ministry, etc.). Virtue is captured in the fruit of the Spirit. The way to be marketable is to have the character of Christ. It is impossible to carry a rich capture of Christ and your world ignores you; there are not many people like that. When you see trouble, it means that somebody has compromised on the character of Jesus. John 1:6-7
2. 2. Extra – ordinary fruitfulness. The presence of bareness does not survive the presence of God, John 15:1-8. There is an explanation to a worse today or tomorrow because people have stopped abiding/beholding in Him. Your fruitfulness brings kings to the brightness of your rising. The real profit as far as dominion is concerned is when kings come to you. Joseph interpreted the dreams of three people, the two didn’t help him. It was when he interpreted the dream of the king that his life changed forever.
   Fruitfulness is a product of wisdom of God, Proverbs 8:1-6;15-17. It is impossible to be fruitful if the wisdom of God is not at work. The queen of Sheba came to Solomon at the account of the wisdom he had. The secret to excellence is to have wisdom; wisdom will always speak of excellence things. The quality of decisions and choices you make in your life will determine if you have wisdom. If your decisions are not sponsored by wisdom, it will show. Decisions decides destiny and what you decide is out of the wisdom you have. Growth, dominion and results answers to wisdom. Results are what attract people to you. Results and extraordinary fruitfulness is a function of time. There is glory to wisdom. Colossians 1:9-10
   When you become competent you make your transition to a realm of glory in experience becomes easy and kings will look for you. Kings look for men who have paid the price by searching through the word to have the wisdom of Christ. When wisdom is at work in you, ordinary things reflect the glory you carry.
   Behind jealous and envy is lack of fruitfulness. When you produce authentic extraordinary results, everyone become a partner in progress. When you lack wisdom you will not rise. When your life does not produce much fruits, you will be frustrated. Wisdom is an equalizer; it will define your place in destiny. Luke 2:52, Jesus increased in wisdom to the extent that, when a woman encountered Him at the well, she went to call the city to come and hear from Him. There is a reason why God designed results to speak. People will not keep quiet when they know that you have solutions. Wisdom has proofs, when you carry it, it will speak.
3. 3. Greater empowerment to reveal Jesus and turn many to righteousness. You cannot see Him and not carry grace and anointing. Acts 4:33, 19:12-20
   When you are empowered, your witness becomes easy. It is difficult to convince people that Jesus is Lord when there is no signs and wonders. The human spirit was meant to acknowledge the wonders of God. Men cannot ignore the supernatural; they will always respond when they see Jesus at work. In preparing to serve the purposes of God, you must contend for empowerment. Jesus, the Word came on earth and for 30 years, His heaven was closed. But when He was ready for ministry, the Holy Spirit rested on Him and from there, He walked in exploits until He purchased victory for us.

Prayer point

• 1. Father, I decree and declare fresh fire and oil upon my destiny.
• 2. Father, everything in my life that does not represent the character of Christ, I pray that there be a circumcision of my heart.
• 3. Father, cause me to be fruitful. I am tired of a life that does not have results, let me produce results. That the nations will learn of You through my life.
• 4. In the Name of Jesus, I step into my new season of glory.
• 5. LORD I desire to manifest the character of Christ in experience, fruitfulness in my life by Your wisdom at work in me and fire from heaven let it rest on me tonight.
• 6. Father every human vessel connected to my next level of glory, let there be a connection in the spirit.
• 7. LORD edit the audience around my life and bring to my life the men who have an appreciation for the grace You have given me.
• 8. LORD as You lift me, men will see You lifted in my life. John 17:1
